Frosted candle jars

1, frosting process: scrub refers to the glass immersed in the modulated acidic liquid (or smeared with acidic paste) using strong acid to erode the glass surface, while hydrogen fluoride in the strong acid solution makes the glass surface form crystals. Therefore, if the frosting process is done well, the surface of the frosted glass is unusually smooth, and the crystals form scattering to produce a hazy effect. If the surface is relatively rough, it means that the acid erosion of glass is more serious, which is a manifestation of the immature craftsmanship of the scrub master. Or some of them still have no crystals (commonly known as no grinding sand, or glass with spots) is also a master's process that is not well controlled. The process is technically difficult. The process is best manifested by the appearance of sparkling crystals on the surface of the glass, which is formed under a critical condition, mainly because hydrogen fluoride ammonia has reached the time when it is running out of fast sales.
2, sandblasting process: the process is very common, it is the use of spray gun high-speed shooting of sand particles hit the glass surface, so that the glass forms a fine concave and convex surface, so as to achieve the effect of scattering light, so that the light through the formation of a hazy feeling. The surface of the glass product of the sandblasting process is relatively rough, and because the glass surface is destroyed, it seems that the glass photosensitivity of the original material seems to be white glass.
In fact, the two processes are completely different processes. Frosted glass is more expensive than sandblasted glass, and the effect is mainly based on the needs of users. Some unique glasses are also not suitable for frosting.
